4. Scottish Gaelic female three piece

1. Born in Dublin Ireland, raised gypsy style in southern Spain and constantly moving cities,Sian chose early to drop out of society, make music and DJ.Committing to the avant-garde way of life,He stands out as a little more bohemian than the average electronic figure..a very rare, flamboyant and eccentric new talent.Recording primarily for Dubfires highly respected Sci&Tec label and the Aus music imprint,He has also appeared on Pokerflat,Karmarouge,Dessous,Mule and along the way has been remixed by Gui Boratto,Steve Bug,Efdemin,Pan-Pot,Roland Appel and Minilogue.
Known for wild DJ sets and a unique flair behind the decks,Sians DJ-ing adventures have already taken him all over the globe, from the most contemporary clubs and festivals in Europe to dates in Canada,USA,Eastern Europe,Australia and beyond.Enroute He has rocked his unusual brand of house and techno voodoo to memorable nights at venues such as Berghain,Secretsundaze,Tripod,Electric Picnic,Compression,Fusion Festival,Mulletover,The End,Rohstofflager,Industria,Nitsa,Hive,Suburbia,Supermarket,Chinese Laundry,Spy,The Endup etc etc..
With highly applauded underground projects,Sian has already gathered great press attention from Mixmag,Groove.de,DJmag,IDJ,De:bug, XLR8,Resident advisor etc and is getting massive airplay from top dance music shows worldwide. His tracks routinely end up in the record boxes of all the main techno/house luminaries, receiving support and praise from the likes of Carl Craig,Loco Dice,Steve Bug,Luciano,Villalobos,Sasha,Adam Beyer,M.A.N.D.Y,Ame,Ben Watt,Steve Lawler,Laurent Garnier,Kenny Larkin,Nic Fanciulli,Shinedoe,3Channels,Martin Landsky,Dj Koze, and Anja Schneider to namedrop a few..
Demand is now heating up for Sians remixes also, recent projects such as Gui Boratto,Audiofly,Simon Baker and Vegetable Orchestra project (other remixers on this particular project are Anja Schneider,Luciano,Villalobos) have illustrated a genuinely vibrant sound and achingly sublime production style.
Sian also finds time to run the unusual techno label Octopus, still in its very infancy the label has worked with esteemed names like Gui Boratto,3 Channels,Ripperton,Herve AK,Yapacc,Axel Bartsch and bright new talent like Calculus and Nico Purman. The upcoming Octopus releases will include remixes by superbly skilled producers such as Dan Durtin,Jonas Kopp,John Selway and Gummihz.
The young imprint is already getting praise by everyone from Loco Dice,Damian Lazarus to M.A.N.D.Y and press rapture by DJmag,IDJ,Mixmag,Resident Advisor,Groove,XLR8 etc.
Whether conducting everlasting DJ sessions or creating timeless dance music,Sian is a truly diverse and original talent,at once chic and hedonistic, always intensely inventive...

2. Sian was the name of a collaboration between Akifumi Nakajima (Aube) and Shohei Iwasaki (Monde Bruits). The collaboration released two full-length albums, two splits, and a single between 1994 and 1999 on labels such as Alien8 Recordings, Manifold Records, and Korm Plastics. While they never officially disbanded, Iwasaki's 2005 death in a motorcycle accident and Nakajima's 2013 lung-related has effectively ended the band.

4. Eilidh Cormack, Ellen MacDonald and Ceitlin Lilidh are joined by accompanist Innes White to create a powerful collective sound, representing their wealth of individual experience (www.facebook.com/sianceol)
