Reid Willis

Reid Willis
Image from Discogs
Powered by Audioscrobbler™With an affinity for heavy, textured rhythms and cinematic melodies, Reid Willis has built his career and reputation on his unique combination of experimental sounds with classical compositions. In addition to his six officially-released albums, Willis has worked on musical projects for clients such as Microsoft, Mazda, LensCrafters, Special Olympics and more. He has most recently lent his talents to several episodes of “The Traveler,” a travel program produced by Al Jazeera media company.

Willis found his start at an early age — as a classically trained pianist, he began hand-writing piano pieces at the age of 8. By the time he was in high school, Willis was self-releasing his own albums, which he programmed on the family computer and distributed to friends and family. Reid followed this early passion to Louisiana State University, where he earned both a Bachelors and Masters degree in composition before graduating to the SAE Institute in Atlanta to study sound engineering and music production.
