Primary Colors

Powered by Audioscrobbler™There are at least 3 groups with this name:

1) A new wave/synthpop band from Boston, America.
2) An industrial duo from Oakland, Ca.
3) A metal band from Florida

1) New Wave/synthpop band from Boston, MA. They released a lone EP titled "Fact and Fiction" in 1982.
The line-up was:

Ian Stevens - lead vocals, synthesizers
Tony Mendoza - synthesizers, piano, vocals
John Hartcorn - bass, vocals
Ray Fernandes - drums, vocals

2) Also a current industrial/experimental duo from Oakland, Ca. Debut album available at http://primarycolors.bandcamp.com/.

3) PRIMARY COLORS have been dangerously fusing raw comedy and extreme music since their 2010 inception in Orlando, Florida. Fronted by violent stand up comedian, Sadi Thakur, the band quickly built a reputation for insane live shows. From full nudity to broken bones the intense level of live chaos leaves stages and venues covered in blood, alcohol and broken glass.

After a controversial performance at the 2011 Orlando Metal Awards, PRIMARY COLORS were banned from performing at Orlando's voted best metal venue for being 'too heavy'. According to the club owner PC shows are 'too chaotic', PC are 'too heavy' and PC 'worship Satan'.

January 24, 2012 marked the release of PRIMARY COLORS debut album appropriately titled 'SERIOUSLY, FUCK YOU'.

'Sincerity lies within the brutal attention deficit songwriting, because if nothing else, PC holds it down with their own demented view into well practiced tempo fluctuations. If I had to draw comparisons I would say bands like Animosity or The Number Twelve Looks Like You are in the same phylum, but PC really sidesteps such arbitrary comparisons. I’ve honestly never heard a band that so fluidly fuses death metal and hardcore without paying any mind to trendy fill in the breakdown songwriting fetishization. This Orlando quartet possesses apt potential, so make sure you go catch a show to witness your comfort zone unravel in front of you.' -Jared Oates Haggard / Orlandooom Productions
