Powered by Audioscrobbler™Paragon Sea is the brainchild of Bristol-based musician Jon Rees. One of several projects Jon has been involved in over the years, including dark electro-pop duo The Divided Circle and art-pop collective The Sky Is Blue, Paragon Sea began as a studio-based endeavour in 2016.

Jon produced several EPs over the next few years, which were remastered and compiled into what became the debut eponymous Paragon Sea album, self-released in 2019.

Over the next couple of years, and with the occasional break to produce material for The Divided Circle, Jon set about creating the second Paragon Sea album. Titled ‘Oh Look! Here It Comes’ the album was self-released in August 2022. Anxiety, post-apocalyptic landscapes, violence, governmental lies and the dangers of mis-placed nostalgia are all themes and imagery touched upon throughout the course of the album.

Jon is currently working on a Paragon Sea live set with longtime collaborator and drummer extraordinaire Mark Churchill. Keep an eye on social media for news and developments.
