1. Ossia is Daniel Davies, a.k.a. DJ Oa$is, a member of Bristol's Young Echo collective.

2. Ossia is a student-run new music ensemble based at the Eastman School, University of Rochester, taking its name from the score marking that indicates a musical alternative. It produces concerts of contemporary music, and in so doing helps its student members learn the musical and entrepreneurial skills needed to mount successful performances. New compositions by Eastman students are featured significantly in Ossia productions.

3. Ossia is a project of Scott Thompson.
