Orange Disaster

Orange Disaster

Powered by Audioscrobbler™There are two bands under this name.

1. 1970s post-punk band from Bedfordshire UK, which went on to become The Architects of Disaster, and The Perfect Disaster.

2. Orange Disaster is some sort of brazilian punk artcore lo-fi thing. The "thingers" here are J.C. Magalhães, Vini F., Pepe Lima and Mr. Crazy.
Orange Disaster was a brazilian lo-fi producing experience between friends. Particularly between Vini F., Ilsom Barros and Julio Magalhães - Vini is also a former member of Jazzblaster, while Ilsom is the band leader/producer of Zefirina Bomba; Julio played promiscuously on other several bands in his hometown, São Caetano - in the suburban conurbation of the São Paulo Metropolitan area.
The band had several formations, always recording their rehearsing sessions in various forms (cassette recorders, studio mics, bedroom sessions and a couple of live concerts) til 2007.
When joined by their actual drummer (Davi Rodriguez, aka Pepe Lima, also drummer and producer of Ecos Falsos), the band decided to record an EP. Ilsom left the band the same year, dedicating himself to Zefirina Bomba at a full-time basis and was replaced by Rafael Laguna (aka Mr. Crazy), Capim Maluco`s guitarrist and lead vocalist.
In 2008, the band started playing in brazilians festivals and local underground pubs while gathered together to record their first EP on Rafael`s & Davi`s homestudio.
That EP, however, was cancelled due to their efforts on recording a full album, which is now finished; it got released in 2012.
