Powered by Audioscrobbler™The Frankfurt born, Berlin based pianist, composer, record producer & live act Martin Roth had ben in the electronic music scene spotlight since the early 2000’s with his underground peak in 2009 when he was crowned alongside Eric Prydz,
Sasha and Deadmau5 Beatport Star of 2009 as a result of topping their sales chart no less than 5 times that year, achieving an incredible 16 Top 10 positions and receiving 3 nominations at the Beatport Annual Awards for his productions and
remixes.
Since then, Martin has gone from strength to strength cementing his reputation in the dance scene as a producer as well as DJ & Live Act playing its major venues worldwide & resulting in a residency at the legendary Ministry of Sound in London
& Cielo in NYC.
Influenced by both the classic progressive house sound of the 90’s & 00’s and the deep house & electronica avant garde of today, Martin’s tracks & remixes have been continually supported by the likes of Solomun, Tale of Us, Sasha, John Digweed,
Armin van Buuren or Pete Tong amongst many other leading names.
Martin’s 2012 release, Beautiful Life, on Anjunadeep Records, became one of the biggest deep house records of the year, achieving a number 1 Beatport chart position, residing in the Top 100 for 6 months and racking up an incredible 5 million
plus views on You Tube.
After heavy touring and countless remixes following the success of the Beautiful Life EP Martin went back to the studio in 2014 to write his new EP Mel / Maya which made him highly respected in the techno underground scene again as well as the
early 2015 release - again on Anjunadeep - Have you Ever another summer anthem this time more focussed on commercial & radio playlist success.
The following two years Martin diversified even more with another follow-up EP on Anjunadeep in 2017 Ultraviolet as well as the Organic Cold Brewed Hipster Funk EP (2019) as well as building to a new alias An Analog Guy in a Digital World more
focussed on live & festival appearance with a fusion of Organic Instruments and Electronica.
The unexpected massive success with 25 Million YouTube and Spotify Plays made him focus on that new side of him and during 2018 into 2020 he wrote his first full Artist-Album An Analog Guy in a Digital World released in fall 2020 on his own
lunatique music imprint. Several tracks of this Ambient focussed album like Simplicité or the same name AAGIADW were featured on Advertisement Campaigns, Catwalk Fashion Shows and Motion Pictures like the Google
Documentary (2023) opening doors to the movie industry.
Martin Roth’s next Ambient Acoustic Studio Album Mono No Aware will be released in late summer 2022 on Anjunadeep Reflections while keeping track of his club music roots with the Watermelon Sugar EP on Anjunadeep in Spring 2022.
