MARK BOOMBASTIK born 1978 in Hamburg`s notorious "Schanzenviertel"- started doing Human- Beatbox in the age of 12 after his acoustic- guitar broke into pieces because somebody stepped on it during a party at his flat... Improving his technic and style Mark Boombastik became the only experimental human beatboxer. Through the years he`s worked with a lot of different people, from Hamburg`s hip hop scene (Trainingslager,Fischmob) to electronic musicians ( Hofoku Soshi, Funkstrung,Patric Catani) besides doing his own incredible live concerts all over Europe. " Since the whopper got stock in the throats of the Fat Boys in the middle of the 80s,nobody ever created such a thunderstorm of fat beats of all colours with his mouth." Mark Boombastik puts his very raw and tight beats through special analogic effects so that he creates his songs live. His pure intensity is equipped with an attitude that doesn`t leave no doubts . Meanwhile Mark Boombastik lives in Berlin and is recording his album. MARK BOOMBASTIK kommt urspruenglich aus der hamburger hip-hop und punk rock szene loeste sich aber in seine bestandteile auf um sich schnell wieder zu erfinden und da zu landen wo er jetzt ist... er hat im laufe der jahre mit vielen unterschiedlichen musikern und kuenstlern zusammengearbeitet.unter anderen:trainingslager,fischmob,felix kubin,angie reed,funkstoerung,patric catani,hofuko soshi,tara de long,khan etc. MARK BOOMBASTIK benutzt analoges equipment(distortion,hall,loopmaschine,etc.) um seine stimme zu verfremden bis sie wie e-gitarren,synthesizer,oder noch nicht erfundene instrumente klingt.kein computer betritt je seine buehne,alles was passiert passiert in diesem moment. in seinen liedern werden neue klaenge erfunden,nazis getoetet,hippies gequaelt,die zukunft besungen,die vergangenheit bespielt,politiker gegessen,geliebt,geweint und uebelster dadaismus betrieben. kurz gesagt:das ist kein zeitgeist,das ist fuer immer! seine zaehne sind stroboskope,seine lippen millionen amps.seine zunge billionen trommelwirbel!
