Mariaa Siga (born Mariama Siga Goudiaby) is a composer and performer from Casamance, Senegal.

In 2009, she won a talent competition and was thereafter spotted by the leader of Joan of Arc group. The leader refined her music skills and helped shape her music career.

In 2010, as a resident of the Palen studio, she played a role in the film 'Mon Rêve', for the Senegalese channel RDV. Already accustomed to the traditional rhythms of her native Casamance, her curiosity led her to discover new music styles such as, blues or jazz, which are fused with African sounds. Siga's artistic approach brings her closer to the world music universe.

In 2016, she was one of the winners of Tremplin competition at the Festival des Vieilles pirogues. In 2017, Siga released two singles 'Ya Sama None' and 'Asekaw'.

In 2018, she played in her native region of Casamance for the first time during the Kayissen Festival. Yoro N'Diaye featured her on his compilation 'Sunu Folk' in the same year.

In November 2018, she performed for the first time in France followed by the release of her first album titled 'Asekaw' (which means woman in diola) in 2019. She has also performed at Festival MarocFolies (Morocco), Midem (France) and Festival Mondial des Femmes d'Ici et d'Ailleurs (Canada).

Siga is the winner of One Riddim Contest, a competition organised by Baco Records French label.
