Powered by Audioscrobbler™Lucas Renney is a singer-songwriter from Sunderland in the North-East of England. He first came to prominence as lead singer and songwriter of XL Recordings artists The Golden Virgins, who split in 2006.

He has recently completed recording an album for Brille Records. Produced by ex-Cocteau Twin Simon Raymonde, the album also features Paul Alexander and McKenzie Smith from Midlake on bass and drums alongside Bella Union's Stephanie Dosen on backing vocals.
