In English:
For more than twenty years, Eblis Alvarez, Mario Galeano and Pedro Ojeda have been exposed to tropical Latin American music that has long (even to this day) been relegated to the back of good taste. Vallenato, Peruvian chicha, raspa, champeta, some African sounds and cumbia in its different aspects (lowered, villera, sabanera) are part of the new style that Los Pirañas exhibit within the hectic panorama of Colombian music today.

From the same creators of Frente Cumbiero, Meridian Brothers, Palanca and the Vallenato Polyphonic Ensemble, Los Pirañas reveal with humour, noise, little solemnity and excessive rhythm a lysergic surprise, ideal to enjoy the psychedelic connections between champeta, afrobeat, rock and the cumbia.
