Leather Jackets is a band from Jundiaí, São Paulo.
It is formed by five friends, and plays variations of punk. Among them: Street Punk, Punk Rock and Horror Punk are the most noted tags. Before the name of the band was The Martinez, after some problems with the name, it resolve turn to name.

The band started after a presentation in the school. It plays "covers" of Misfits, Ramones, Zumbis Do Espaço, Sex Pistols, Garotos Podres, The Casualties, The Exploited, Blind Pigs and Dead Kennedys.

And now the band started composing own music, leaving "covers" at the second plan.
The first singles of The Martinez are "Dãnrley Pegando Fogo" and "Conformistas".

The biggest musical influences are Blind Pigs, The Casualties and The Exploited.
