2) I Refuse was a political post-hardcore/punk band from Ottawa, Ontario. (2005-2010). They played their last show ever on August 17th, 2012.

"Drawing influences from bands such as Helmet, Quicksand and Nirvana, I Refuse gives new life to a long-dormant style of hardcore. I Refuse simply isn't trying to emulate the sound but "Speaks Fork-Tongued" is adding a new progressive chapter to the classics for the genre. Lyrically this album concentrates on self-realization and politics. Mid-tempo and very passionate "Speaks Fork-Tongued" is driven by melodic but groovy guitar, thick heavy bass and drums that are heavy as they are compelling.
