Artist Info

Hank Wood And The Hammerheads

Hank Wood And The HammerheadsData provided by DiscogsAmerican Punk band from New York City.

Logan Montana (guitar) and Henry Wood (drums, who played with [a2113035]), started playing together around 2009, when both were 19 years old. Soon Max Quinn joined them on drums, with Wood moving to vocals. Forrest Byrd Looker (keyboards), Kevin Manion (bass) and Montana's childhood friend Emil Bognar Nasdor (percussion, also vocalist of [a2223424]) also entered the band, completing the line-up.

The group recorded their first two albums, "Go Home" (2012) and "Stay Home" (2014) with this line-up. After the latter's release, Bognar Nasdor departed. Their third - self-titled - album was released in 2018. Sometime after the pandemic hit, Looker moved to Texas and Manion moved to Philadelphia, with the band being more or less put on ice.

Wood went on to drum for [a7240770] (and also released a solo LP as [a13804978]), while Quinn joined [a9792430].
