With support from DFRNT, Mary Anne Hobbs and MJ Cole, amongst others, Great Skies has progressed forward creating a sound that has been described by many blogs as Chillwave. Using chopped indecipherable vocal samples, clattering 2step rhythms and ambient style instruments Great Skies has developed a signature sound of summer and warmth.
