Powered by Audioscrobbler™Despite classing themselves as “less a group, more an experiment”, Globo have been releasing records (predominately on the Hydrogen Dukebox label) since 1995, including acclaimed electronic masterpieces “Pro War” and “This Time It’s Globo”. Aside from the traditional business of creating and releasing albums and singles (in the process gaining singles of the week and albums of the month in publications such as DJ, NME, Melody Maker, The Guardian) Globo have also busied themselves with providing music for hit BBC Comedy programmes (Lee & Herrings ‘Fist Of Fun’) and hosting multi media art/music events (including the recent launch of Mark Mothersbaugh’s (Devo) art exhibition).

The band are about to release 'Globo's This Nation’s Saving Grace', is a cover version of the entire classic album by The Fall (regarded by many as their best) originally released in 1985. Globo have produced a radical yet incredibly respectful reworking of these songs employing guest singers and musicians from bands such as Bearsuit, Fuck Dress, The Neutrinos and Mia Vigar to complement the band’s electro-based production.
