Artist Info

Emily Rodgers

Powered by Audioscrobbler™Emily Rodgers was born in Northern Indiana and began writing music in 2003, when she moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she now resides. At the time, Rodgers was alternating between solo performances and those with her band.

"Bright Day", Rodgers first proper album (following a self-released EP as Emily Rodgers and Her Majesty's Stars), was released in the spring of 2009 on Misra Records.

Emily Rodgers' style is a quiet one featuring sparse, airy arrangements. Her songs are generally formed by traditional folk instrumentations and inventive lyrics.
