NEWS:
We have 28 hours across 12 shows for October including, possibly, the last from Mark Cunliffe for a long time. Plus - it is already 20 years since John Peel died and we have some reminders.

Deadbear

DEADBEAR is the moniker of Berlin-based producer and electronic musician Nick Donovan. Donovan began experimenting with electronic music as part of a university 'laptop orchestra' and later making interactive software (including being commissioned to build an app for CERN's Large Hadron Collider). 2013 saw Donovan release his debut EP on Art is Hard Records featuring collaborations with Alex Hewett (Egyptian Hip Hop) and /please/.

After garnering critical acclaim from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, The Wire Magazine, Virgin.com, XFM and the NME, Donovan releases his new double single on Cascine's CSCN label. On Focus-single "Tongues" Donovan blends shards of incomprehensible vocals with layers of drums, glockenspiels and electronica found sounds alongside the vocals of Japanese collaborator Qrion - famed for her work with Ryan Hemsworth and her own unique productions. B-side, "Oo Oo" culminates in a storm of distortion and sub-heavy bass beats.
