Musician, DJ, producer, radio broadcaster from Amsterdam. She constantly plays live in locations all over the world and is a resident dj in amongst others Jinja, Uganda (Nyege Nyege Festival).
She releases her own music on various labels, like Jahmoni from Munich and Play Loud! Productions from Berlin. Live, she uses three turntables to combine and merge various styles of music. She also released four turntable mixes/compositions on the German Klangbad label, run by Faust founding member Hans Joachim Irmler. Every now and then she collaborates with other artists, like Guido Mobius (in Quiquoiou), Lianne Hall (in Murmuration), Holger Mertin (in Fodderstompf) and Barcelona circus/performance group Animal Religion. Marcelle is a true visionary artist, ignoring most stale rules, both when she dj-s and when she makes her own music. Her main radio show is called Another Nice Mess. and is weekly at radio http://DFM.nu on Tuesdays from 20:00 to 22:00 CE(S)T.
