Powered by Audioscrobbler™There are at least two artists named Bonita:

- Bonita is an Indonesian musician. Born in May 7 1977, Bonita grew up in a musical family. Her father (Koes Hendratmo) is a professional singer, and her mother (Herdawati) was also a jazz singer before she got married. Bonita grew up listening to music, singing, and practicing. Her big brother (who is also a musician and singer – Hendra Perdana) became her musical- partner in the family. Bonita’s first formal singing teacher was Yashir Syam.
After composing, collecting and preparing her own album for seven years, Bonita finally released her self-titled album in 2003, distributed by Universal Music Indonesia. This debut album, producered by Yuka Dian Narendra, contained 10 songs including Merah (Red), Aku (Me), and Pelangi (The Rainbow).
After that first album, Bonita continued writing her own new songs. In mid- 2007, still under the direction of Yuka Dian Narendra, Bonita has finished recording 16 songs for her newest album, planned for release during the second semester of this year. The songs in this second album tells the stories of Bonita’s life since 2004 until now. The folk, pop and accoustic characters are thickly documented in the 16 songs.
