Bar-B-Q Killers  Image from Discogs  Bar-B-Q Killers was an alternative rock band from Athens, Georgia. They released the album Comely in 1986. They performed on Athens, GA: Inside/Out (1987), a video documentary that was an important document of Georgia music culture. Guitar player and singer, Laura Carter, later fronted 90's Athens band, Jack O'Nuts. She died in 2002. The other members of the band were Claire Horne (guitarist), David Judd (bassist), and Arthur Johnson (drummist). J David Barbe of Mercyland and Sugar also joined in on guitar for a season. Besides their album on Twilight Records and their song "His and Hearse" on the Athens, GA: Inside/Out soundtrack, the only other recording by the band released on vinyl was the song "Chester Drawers" on the SOME EP, a four-song 12-inch record that also included contributions from the Athens bands Time Toy, Eat America, and Mercyland.
