Artist Info

Badman

Powered by Audioscrobbler™Badman can refer to one of three different musical acts:

1). Drum n Bass
Badman was an artist part of the Jungle/Drum & Bass movement during the early and late 90's. Most popular and well remembered track badman done was the 'War in 94'. The track was remixed many times and appeared on countless jungle/Drum & Bass compilations in the 90's

2). Roots rock
Badman (Pictured) is a trio based out of Providence, Rhode Island, who play an edgy style of roots-influenced rock that makes people think of a more aggressive Tom Waits or Nick Cave. They won "Best Roots Act" in the 2006 Providence Phoenix Best Music Poll.

3). Rock/Reggae/Dance
BADMAN can be best described in three words, "Rock, Reggae and Dance". The bands eclectic mix of roots drum and bass, hard driving vocal melodies, and smooth guitar tone gives the band an edge on todays now versatile music scene. Originating in St. Thomas Virgin Islands, BADMAN quickly rose to the top of the local music scene becoming the "islands mightiest band". Sharing the stage with such various reggae artists as Steel Pulse and Third World has not only shown that they are talented musicians, but are also dedicated professionals. Badman has shown there quality and are easily on the fast track to becoming one of the decades most original bands.
