Powered by Audioscrobbler™Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio (born March 10, 1994), known professionally as Bad Bunny, is a Puerto Rican rapper and singer. He is recognized as a leading figure in Latin trap and has played a significant role in popularizing Spanish-language rap in global mainstream music. Bad Bunny became the first non-English-language artist to be Spotify's most-streamed artist of the year, achieving this distinction in three consecutive years from 2020 to 2022. His 2022 album "Un Verano Sin Ti" holds the record as the most-streamed album on Spotify.

Born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, Bad Bunny gained initial attention in 2016 with the release of the song "Diles", which led to a contract with the label Hear This Music. His rise continued with collaborations such as "I Like It" with Cardi B and J Balvin, which topped the Billboard Hot 100, and the hit single "Mía" featuring Drake. His debut studio album "X 100pre" (2018) reached number 10 on the US Billboard 200. In 2019, he released a collaborative album with J Balvin titled "Oasis", which reached number nine on the same chart.

His second solo album, "YHLQMDLG" (2020), became the highest-charting all-Spanish-language album on the Billboard 200 at the time, reaching number two. It was followed by the compilation album "Las que no iban a salir" later that year. His third studio album, "El Último Tour Del Mundo" (2020), made history as the first all-Spanish-language album to reach number one on the Billboard 200. The album's lead single, "Dákiti", entered the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100.

"Un Verano Sin Ti", released in 2022, spent 13 weeks at number one on the Billboard 200 and was named the best-performing album of the year in both the United States and globally. It produced several commercially successful singles and became the first Spanish-language album to receive a nomination for the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. He continued his commercial success with two more number-one albums on the Billboard 200: "Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana" (2023) and "Debí Tirar Más Fotos" (2025).

Over the course of his career, Bad Bunny has received numerous awards, including three Grammy Awards, eleven Latin Grammy Awards, eight Billboard Music Awards, and thirteen Lo Nuestro Awards. Billboard named him Artist of the Year in 2022. As of April 2024, he has sold over seven million records worldwide.

In addition to his music career, Bad Bunny has participated in professional wrestling. He made his WWE debut in 2021 and has since appeared in various events, including WrestleMania 37, the 2022 Royal Rumble, and the 2023 Backlash event. He is also a former WWE 24/7 Champion.
