Powered by Audioscrobbler™Ana Faria Fainguelernt, known professionally as Ana Frango Elétrico, is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, painter and poet.

Born to a plastic artist father and a psychologist mother, Ana began studying music at the age of six and, at seven, they already knew how to read sheet music and played classical piano in recitals. At the age of ten, Ana passed the entrance test at the Villa Lobos music school, which encouraged them to study music in more depth. At 16, they began composing songs for their 2018 debut album, Mormaço Queima. Ana discovered that their grandfather was bullied due to his Russian surname, which inspired them to create their stage name, "Frango Elétrico" (Electric Chicken). Initially, Ana did not plan to be a singer or songwriter, but they fell in love with music and decided to pursue this career. Ana released their second album, Little Electric Chicken Heart, in 2019, which received critical praise.

Ana Frango Elétrico's third studio album Me Chama de Gato Que Eu Sou Sua was released on October 2023.
