Allo Darlin'

Powered by Audioscrobbler™Allo Darlin' is a British indie-pop band based in London. While the band initially split at the end of 2016, they announced in January 2023 that they had reunited for a few gigs in England, their first in six years.

Comprising Elizabeth Morris and Bill Botting are from Australia, Mikey Collins and Paul Rains, they released their self-titled debut album was released on the Fortuna Pop! label in 2010, with a second album, Europe, appearing in 2012. A third album, We Come from the Same Place, was released in autumn 2014.

They began playing seriously as a band in January 2009, although Elizabeth Morris was releasing music under various guises since 2007. Their first single for Fortuna Pop!, The Polaroid Song, was released in December 2009. That song made it into the Drowned in Sound Top 50 Singles of the Year, and garnered them further great reviews.

Their debut album Allo Darlin' was released in June 2010, and another single Dreaming was preceded this in March. The album was recorded at Soup with producer Simon Trought, underneath the Duke of Uke shop in Brick Lane.

Their third album, "We Come from the Same Place", was released in October 2014.

The band went their separate ways at the end of 2016.

In January 2023, the band announced on social media that they have reunited for a few gigs in England, their first in six years, with a possibility of recording new music together.
