Powered by Audioscrobbler™Adam Offord Buxton (born June 7, 1969) is a British comedian, who together with his comedy partner Joe Cornish wrote and presented the Channel 4 comedy series The Adam and Joe Show. He also makes an appearance in "The IT Crowd" episode 1.5.

His father is Nigel Buxton, the travel writer and wine critic.

He originally appeared in an episode of Channel 4's "Takeover TV" as a man called "Louise" dressed as a Klingon, complaining about ST:TNG being taken off screen. (See the external links below) In 1995, he then went on to host the show. He has also appeared in the Doctor Who audio drama The One Doctor by Big Finish Productions.

Co-wrote and acted in the Channel 4 mini-series The Last Chancers (aired Christmas 2004).

Performed character driven stand up comedy at the 2005 Edinburgh Festival. His show was entitled 'I, Pavel'.

He appears in the BBC comedy series Time Trumpet, which began its first series in August 2006.

Adam is noted for wearing a distinctive sailor hat.
