A Fine Day For Sailing has existed in many incarnations, the newest of which features seven animals - there's a bird of some description, a sausage dog, a pug and there might even be a whale that's actually a piano.

Made up of Matthew, Jen, Thom, Sharon, Dan and Caroline, they play Beach Boys-infused pop music, taking inspiration from each of their individual musical interests, which are as varied as Cabaret Voltaire to Belle & Sebastian.

They split up in 2012.
