The Beatbox Saboteurs Show - March 2019
This month, once again, we travel the world to bring you music everywhere from Folkestone to Ethiopia. There's a slight subtext in the first part of the show, including two colourful tracks from the excellent Libertino Records. Never shy to twist our tongues, embracing our ever-improving language skills, you will hear us attempting to speak and translate both Welsh and then Ukrainian.
To add to the international feel, we are also delighted to include a 'Postcard from Japan' with kiYOmi (from Astro-B) and Lee (Thomas Imposter Records) playing a few songs, old and new, from the land of robots and ninjas.
Lots to hear, two hours of just about holding it together. We hope you enjoy the show.

Gareth Jones - March 2019
March is my last Dandelion show for a couple of months before I take a break from the station to get married! I thought I'd bow out with a Brexit Special. There are Brexit themed tracks and song parodies, plus a Theresa May mix containing 8 songs about our beloved/beloathed prime minister. We also tackle racism with a track from the new album by Woog Riots.
Of course we embrace all of Europe at Dandelion Radio, so I'll be playing you songs sung in Spanish from Abjects, Italian from Deidre & The Dark and Turkish from Fatos Balkir, plus new tracks from French electro-pop band Le SuperHomard and French surf guitar band Cannibal Mosquitos.
Plus this month's 'Secrets Songs from the Sixties' are by two artists from Belgium/Brussels. Away from Europe, there's new tracks from Japan's Otoboke Beaver and Korea's Drinking Boys and Girls Choir.
Besides Brexit Day, March 29th is also the UK cinema release date for the documentary film 'Being Frank - The Chris Sievey Story', and I'll be playing tracks by Frank Sidebottom and Chris Sievey from the soundtrack album released by Iain Lee's 7a Records label.
So please remain listening to me for these two hours, don't leave!

Mark Cunliffe - March 2019
So I was passed the deadline and at the 11th hour of the deadline extension when I recorded this show! It hasn't impeded the quality of the music though.
There is something new from The Soundcarriers and yet more brilliance from Throwing Snow. Melys has come out with a new tune for the first time in yonks and we're not disappointed.
There are new acts Adam Absent and Tate & Silus who definitely adding to the party. There is a baile funk remix of a Kate Bush classic which it utter madness and EQ Why is on footwork fire.

Mark Whitby - March 2019
With 2019 building up a considerable head of steam music-wise, we return to a three hour show this month, packed with great new releases from around the world, including a featured compilation of Mexican bands from TBTCI, a couple of tracks from the latest collection. from France's With A Messy Head label and the first new album in over twenty years from Brazil's Ivan Conti. Also from France, there's a track from the new Moteor release, while Spain's Bojaman invites a load of mates around and offers up the results on his Bandcamp site - with thrilling results.
We've also got a new release from Woog Riots, the first single from the new album by Threatmantics, an excellent new Blackest Ever Black release from Black Rain and an early contender for my album of the year courtesy of Mchy I Porosty.
Among many other things, we welcome the return of the always-fascinating Cosey Fanni Tutti, throw in a track from that enormously successful Specials album and Peel Back... to three tracks featured in session on the John Peel show forty years, thirty years and twenty years ago this month.

There's a great big stack of 7" singles this month from the might Slovenly Records, each from a different part of the world - so expect filthy garage rock n roll from as far afield as Australia, Canada and Turkey (in fact, there's a total of three Turkish acts this month and each one sounding really different from the others).
As always, there's new tunes from old favourites, including The Night Programme, Istanbul Hippodrome, Richard Quirk, Sir Robert Orange Peel and Warped Freqs, music from hard to pronounce acts (what happened, 2K4S x Endsomware, did you lean on the keyboard?) and an unfamiliar sound from an old familiar name coutesy of the great Death Is Not The End label.

Rocker - March 2019
Two hours this month packed with new music, including tracks from Corduroy; Edwyn Collins; No Fucks; Mammoth Penguins; Witching Waves; Cherry Pickles; Drinking Boys & Girls Choir; Boyracer; Teenage Fanclub; JD Meatyard; Tullycraft; The Wendy Darlings; Otoboke Beaver; Youth Avoiders; Bad Sleep and The Natvral.
Secret Power cover Aliyah, while French band Steeple Remove get the Laurent Garnier remix treatment. There's also electronica from Adana Twins and Mathame.
Bedrock mark 20 years since their first release with a stunning Eagles & Butterflies remix; while Beau releases a new album to mark an astounding 50 years since his debut release on John Peel's Dandelion Record label.
Stereolab embark on deluxe expanded reissues of all their albums, and we play a previously unreleased mix of an indie dancefloor classic.
This month's Educating Elizabeth record is a 1967 Northern Soul floorfiller; while this month's Rocker's Shellac Attack features a 1928 recording of the lady known as The Empress Of The Blues.
As well as little known acts, here's a little known fact: Japanese all-girl band Otoboke Beaver are named after their local knocking shop.

Yes, it is another 4 hours of great new tunes from Ring of Fire this month. Recent listeners will know that I am Sports Team ( tragic already and their new single M5 makes me smile smile smile.
We've tracks from new and forthcoming releases on Metal Postcard.. Sir Robert Orange Peel's Turn That Bloody Racket Down (, a new one from Hong Kong's Little Albert ( and wonderful Manchester based Graham Partington aka Domain whose songcraft is something to behold.
Out here in Australia new bands seem to appear on a daily basis. This month from Sydney we have Display Homes ( amazing High Schoolers, Erthlings ( who are making music every bit as good as Jamie XX. New Melbourne band U-BAHN ( who have an aussie pub twist to the Devo sound.
On the electronic side of things I can't get enough of Namito & DJQ Quinto Young's tune, Ride The Flow ( Or how about new Belgian artist Charlotte Adigery (, The New Quartet, Flamingo Pier ( and so the list goes on.
Also we had to include the Specials, a great cover by De Staat and Jacob Rees Mogg goes all Pulp on us.
I just hope you have the 4 hours to spare.

Thomas Blatchford - March 2019
Hello there, it's March, big bits of Australia are burning, Britain is about to kick itself in the face again, the seas are simmering, and Thomas has thirty new and used tunes to - let's face it - arrogantly take up your time with.
Album of the month goes to hard-to-google gothlord V with their first full-length for the Dero Arcade label, although Sports Bra were strong contenders too. Two teenage bands The Vovos and Milk Crate make an appearance in the show, sounding a lot more jaded than their elders Slush.
There's a song for Europe by Pagan Wanderer Lu released long before Brexit was a twinkle in hamface's eye, unsquashed beef from Skepta, an ode to fanzines by Copy Scams, a roundabout tribute to Clacton's finest Sade, and a song by an unidentified artist. Some things aren't to be known, after all. Many thanks to Miko for the introduction, you're great.

I've managed to put together a 2 hour show this month with mainly new songs from the likes of The Stroppies, The Wendy Darlings, Witching Waves, ShitKid, Magic Mist and Mammoth Penguins.
Away from guitar pop I have music from Tuluum Shimmering, Diane, Lakker and Tamburi Neri.
Plus from Cardiff we have a demo from thrash metal outfit Age Of The Pariah.
There are a few oldies thrown in this month from The Monkees and Bongwater in tribute to Monkees guitarist Peter Tork who sadly died in February.
