On my show this month:
Two hours from Rocker this month, including a new session from Lonely Tourist, and a featured album from the Skep Wax label. There are new tracks from House Of All; The Reds, Pinks And Purples; Sweetpool; Neutrals; Helen Love; The Wendy Darlings; Silver Biplanes; Cosmit; Crumbs; Jasmine Allen Estate; The Charlie Tipper Rebellion; TV Smith; and Fresh. There's new electronica from Johannes Klingebiel, and Peggy Gou. King Tubby teams up with Hollie Cook to cover Amy Winehouse, while Blue Orchids cover labelmates The Nightingales. This month's Rocker's Shellac Attack is a classic rock'n'roll b-side from 1958, while this month's Educating Elizabeth record is a brand new 7" out of Cincinnati on the Colemine label. As well as little known acts, here's a little known fact: The Formanta Polivoks was a dual oscillator synthesizer produced in the USSR in the 1980s.

Biography:
I am proud to be a DJ for dandelionradio.com - as far as we know we are the only radio station inspired by John Peel - I was a Peel listener from 1976 to 2004 and it was his open minded attutude to different genres that has shaped my own tastes. It is a great buzz to be carrying on the great man's work and bringing previously unknown artists to the attention of our listeners.
As well as my radio DJing I have been known to drag my crates around the UK - I currently hold DJ residencies at monthly indiepop nights Sunny Inside Presents in Stoke-on-Trent and Big Pink Cake in Bristol, as well as co-promoting and DJing at Bristol's monthly vinyl-only Northern Soul night, Getting Together. I have also appeared as guest DJ at some of London's finest indie nights: Twee As Fuck; How Does It Feel To Be Loved; Lost Music Presents; and Scared To Dance.
I run eclectic CD-R label Local Underground, and am promoter and resident DJ for related gigs & events as Local Underground Presents. I also play out a progressive house set as B_Man - you can download some old mixes here. In the Bristol, UK area I have DJd for Manna parties as well as Empathy, and Voodoo nights. My ambient / chillout / dub reggae / punk / soundtracks / psychedelia sets are also much in demand in certain (crop) circles. Over the years I have also been known to play keyboards / drums in various ensembles. I record most of the bands' sessions for my show in my recording studio, StAR Studios, which, like me, has a busy schedule!
You can find me on MySpace here, and on Facebook here!
