The Mountain Movers

The Mountain Movers's debut, We've Walked in Hell and There is Life After Death, features 12 love songs with broken images of the devil, death, and the afterworld. There are moments of hope and celebration, but ultimately the devil, who here stands for everything from distraction to excess, always wins.

The songs are written and sung by Daniel Greene of The Butterflies of Love. He is an elementary school teacher of all subjects, a Yale Divinity School graduate, and an author and illustrator of books of poems, strange children's stories, and one-act plays.

Band members
Dan Greene: vocals and guitar
Rob Katz: Rhodes
Jason Bates: drums
Rick Omonte: bass
John Panos: trumpet
Erik Elligers: saxophone and cello
