Powered by Audioscrobbler™Christine's Cat were a side project band of The Golden Dawn, featuring band members Robert Smith and Kenny Forte, alongside vocalist Christine Grant. They released one song on a flexidisc called Your Love Is..., on Sarah Records (the legendary indiepop label which also released records by their main band).

In 2021, 32 years after their sole release, singer Christine Grant uploaded two unreleased Christine's Cat songs entitled If You Should Ever Go and Like A Summer's Day to YouTube with accompanying unseen photos of the band. In 2023 a book by writer Jane Duffus entitled These Things Happen: The Sarah Records Story featured "the world exclusive first interview with Christine of Christine’s Cat fame".

In 2025, four songs by Christine's Cat were released on Like A Summer's Day E.P. by Windmill Records of Sheffield, England.
