Al-Namrood

Al-Namrood
Image from Discogs
Powered by Audioscrobbler™Oriental Black Metal from Saudi Arabia. The name Al-Namrood (the non-believer; النمرود in Arabic script; also sometimes written in Latin text as AlNamrood) is derived from an ancient historical autocratic character (usually transliterated to English as Nimrod, or נִמְרוֹדֿ‬ in the original Hebrew) who once ruled the world with an overpowerful evil, slayed and ruled with despotic evil.

While they don't have an official Bandcamp site, most of their music can be streamed and purchased from that of their label, Toronto-based Shaytan Productions. Due to Saudi Arabia's repressive laws against blasphemy, which in many cases carry capital sentences, the band members are known only by pseudonyms.
