(1) a Japanese singer-songwriter, born in Kanagawa Prefecture. After debuting in Sony Records as part of the duo Funta with Yoshimi, she debuted as a solo artist under the name U with her song "Puka Puka", which was the theme song of the "Sweet Legacy" game (in the PC version). She's active as a performer for theme songs of several Frontwing adult games. She's proficient as a songwriter, also providing music for other artists as a lyricist, composer and arranger. As part of Funta she used to be credited as UCO, but now she uses the Funta3 credit.

(2) the Japanese actor and singer Shirota Yu (城田優), who debuted with the Single "U" under the Name "U" in April 2011. He is previous member of D-BOYS. He has acted in many dramas and his song "Heart of Glass" is used as the theme song for his 2011 drama "Shitsuren Hoken"

(3) Alias for Yu miyake.

(4) U is a producer releasing genre-defying electronic music through Man Make Music, the label run by George Fitzgerald. Their debut EP, Eah came out in October 2012.

(5) a noise/punk band from Seattle, Washington that utilises cassette tapes, modified instruments (drums, guitars, keyboards) and feedback.

(6) Yuuchi Ruri, a Japanese drummer and singer, born in 1983. Most famous as a supporting drummer for band UNIDOTS.
