Thrilled Skinny Image from Discogs Thrilled Skinny was a band from Luton, Beds, England, who played very fast, melodic tunes which sort of fitted but sort of didn't fit into the C86/twee/lurchy alternative scene in England at the end of the 1980s and beginning of the 1990s. The band recorded a Peel session and played hundreds of gigs with (among others), The Wedding Present, The Keatons, The Rosehips, The Losers, Cud, the Boo Raddleys, The Inspiral Carpets, Snuff, Carter USM, Mega City 4 et cetera. Singer Simon Goalpost runs Pop Noise Records in East Devon; the other three members of the band and mardy merchandiser Tim are involved with the Legendary High Town Records (home of The Knockouts, Clod Magazine and the Luton Haiku) Read more on Last.fm.
