Powered by Audioscrobbler™The Soft City is Dora Lubin, Jason Corace Phil Sutton, Kyle Forester, Turner Stough, Lisa Goldstein and Andy Adler.

Phil, formerly of Comet Gain, Velocette (UK), and Kicker, started The Soft City as an off-shoot of the latter, and recorded a three song demo released as a limited edition CD single on Florida's Cloudberry Records in 2007.

After moving to New York in 2008 Dora Lubin, formerly of the DC group Black Max took over vocals, and Jason Corace (Boy Named Thor and Ye Olde Boombox), joined on guitar. A debut LP was recorded with Kyle Forrester and Gary Olson of Ladybug Transistor. Turner Stough (Bel Air and Low Water )joined the group on bass Fall 2009.

They released a song in November 2008, "Snow Keeps Falling," as part of the Cloudberry Records Christmas e.p. "Last Train to Christmas."

The Soft City's self-titled debut LP was released Spring 2010.

In 2011 Lisa Goldstein, formerly of Knight School and Andy Adler of Crystal Stilts joined the group, on drums and guitar.

Andy, Phil and Kyle also play in the "supergroup" Cinema Red and Blue with David Christian and Anne Laure Guiot Guillain of Comet Gain, Crystal Stilts JB and Gary Olson.

A 7" EP, "Four Stories," will be released Summer 2011.
