There are at least three bands called The Heck.
1. The Heck is a contemporary sixties garage/rock & roll band from The Netherlands, fronted by Henri Soulmann (of De Keefmen and The Sensational Second Cousins fame). File under: sixties punk, garage rock, teenage loser beat or what have you. It's wild, wild, wild and it usually ends with several band members ending up somewhere in the crowd. Records (since their début release in 2017) via Dirty Water Records (U.K.) and Soundflat Records (Germany). Influences range from Reigning Sound and The Gories to The Sonics and Q65. The Heck is: Henri Keefman (vocals, guitar), René Katerbarg (bass) and Erik Berends (drums).
2. Founded in 2001 by lead singer and guitar slinging madman Bryan Steeksma, The Heck has risen from the ashes of time and re-creation to establish its final and strongest reincarnation. Steeksma, along with bassist Trevor Watson and drummer Marshall Ryan together form a powerful vortex that engulfs listeners with their music's explosiveness and introspection. Their performance is a rare breed of finesse and precision that will keep 'The Heck EP' in your head for days. The multiple distinct identities manipulated on this self-titled 6 song EP have caused 5 out of 6 psychiatrists to diagnose it with Dissociative Identity Disorder.
3. The Heck is an all-female punk/rock band from Japan.
