1) Shallow was a dream pop / shoegaze band from Lawrence, Kansas, United States, formed in the mid 1990s. They created a unique brand of swirling dream pop, characterized by the haunting voice of singer/guitarist Julie Shields. The group recorded several EPs as well as three full-length albums. Since Shallow's demise, Julie and Jason Shields have released several albums as The Capsules.

2) Shallow was a psychedelic rock / stoner rock band from Stoke, England, UK. In the tear 2000 they released an album titled "16 Sunsets in 24 Housr". In 2001 they changed name to The Last Drop, and in 2002 released a second album, titled "Where Were You Living a Year From Now?"
