He is a self motivated driven artist, CEO, promoter, and powerful business man. He is a mark of all trades. POPOV was born in New Jersey but was raised in Orlando. He has a style of his own, his style is versatile and he can take any beat and make it into a smash hit. He is 100% Dominican so he knows how to appeal to all crowds and generations. He is a leader and a mover.

POPOV was first known for his promotional company BlokMovaz Entertainment. Over the last 6years he has helped many local artists, other promoters and DJ’s put together and promote their projects. Now is his time to shine. His newest project is himself. Within the last four months, from May 2008-August 2008 POPOV has been opening up for headliners such as LIL Boosie, Ace Hood, Webbie, 2 Pistols, Corey Holcomb from MTV and over a dozen more shows locally and regionally across the state of Florida. He has guest appearances and cameos in20several music videos, J-Russ ft./ Popov - MOVE ME, Spaceship by TREAL , Grand Daddy SOUF’s music video and his own From da BLOK to da TOP DVD. Not to mention he had an appearance in a ROCKSTAR energy drink commercial. Locally he has the support of his city. Orlando DJ’s have featured POPOV’s songs on their radio shows and mixtapes. Over the last 6 years he has hosted dozens of mixtapes. From DJ NASTY, DJ Greg G, Dj Skream, White Boi Pizal, DJ Technic, DJ Rell, Blokmovaz own Dj Slique, and Tony C, the “Voice” of the people can be heard every night in the local clubs in Orlando and now recently heard in ATLANTA.

Just recently POPOV has made himself an international artist. Internationally he has been heard on hundreds of mixtapes and radio waves . POPOV and his smash hit “Man of My City” produced by OZ N Da Deacon, are featured on the Promo ONLY Urban CLUB and Promo ONLY Radio cds' that are distributed all across the world to DJ’s from England to DJ’s in INDIA. On top of all the music, POPOV has been featured in several magazines that are distributed nationally; ACE Magazine, Ozone Magazine, Pure Cash Magazine and HOOD Magazine. POPOV has made his mark on his city. His city has also made a mark on him. His passion for his city made him create a song based on ORLANDO and now his most recent tattoo is stating “Property of the 407”. You will always find him supporting the other local promoters and artists in Orlando. If you’re standing in the club and see the men in black screaming “Its da BLOK” you will know that somewhere in the middle of his team you will find POPOV, the MAN OF HIS CITY.
