Oyaarss

Powered by Audioscrobbler™Oyaarss is an electronica-based one-piece band from Bauska, Latvia. He specialises in harsh and atmospheric sound, with heavy distorted beats layered against sometimes bleak, sometimes ethereal dense ambient textured backdrops. Oyaarss brings a unique blend and take on a range of styles, from idm, to industrial, post-metal, sludge and noise, alongside more subtle influences such as ambient and contemporary minimalist music. His live shows are always as heavy as they come, with every show being unique and containing live elements in both guitar and vocals.

Releases to date include a remix of Cloaks on 3by3, the acclaimed A La Holeage (remixed by Cloaks) and his album Bads on the highly acclaimed Ad Noiseam label - a fitting home for his distinct style. His tracks have played internationally and given support by the likes of Mary Anne Hobbs, Ben Frost and Distance. He has shared the stage with Amenra, Ben Frost, Moving Ninja, Elemental, Fanu, Pinch, Randomer, Hijack, Ancient Methods and also performs as as part of hardcore/post-metal bands.
