Powered by Audioscrobbler™"Octa Push started in the beginning of 2008 when Conspira – one of portuguese pioneers of bass music – challenged these two brothers from Lisbon to join forces and start a live-act project, booking them for a show.
They quickly started to make tracks together and developed a fusion of Bashment, UK Garage and Dubstep with other elements like Afrobeat and Techno.
In a short space of time their explosive performance took them to places and events like Boom Festival, Optimus Alive, Casa da Musica, Lux (Portugal), Sonar Festival, Sonar Gálicia, Redbull Music Academy (Spain), Fabric, Music Hall, Black Swan, Glade Festival (UK), Amsterdam Dance Event, Zomerparkfeest (Holland) and other clubs and festivals.
Already with official remixes for people like Buraka Som Sistema, Jahcoozi, Mochipet, DJ C ft MC Zulu, DJ Znobia, Monkey Steak and Debruit.
Releases on Soul Jazz Records, Fabric Records, Iberian Records, Steak House, Enchufada and more.
Support by the likes of Gilles Peterson (BBC), DJ Sinden (Kiss FM), Buraka Som Sistema and Thom Yorke from Radiohead.”
