Machine Boy have been creating electronic music for about 20 years, Machine Boy music has been placed by tv & production companies including BBC, Chan 4 & 5, Central/Carlton, Chilli Media, Black Diamond & in the USA MTV within the Real World & Road Rules Challenge programs.
Machine Boy releases are available at ITUNES. An ep called DEPRESSION EP thru Birmingham's Incubator Records Included the lyrical/vocal talent of USA Seattle poet/artist Lorian Elbert, giving the Machine Boy sound a whole new dark edge.
The story goes on seeing one of Lorians poems Machine Boy knew these words would work perfectly with his soundscapes. DJ legend/icon John Peel (RIP) was a fan of Machine Boy, more recently airplay for Machine Boys 'Action Figures' single from top radio one DJ Huw Stephens and support from a number of podcasts including Gill Mills TOP podcast iCast have helped build the Machine Boy fanbase.
Machine Boy also creates animated video's to promote the music, the first being a video for the track 'Depression', the video picked up airplay on MTV, 120 minutes, Come Down & Chill Out.
Machine Boy have also worked with producer/writer Ian Wallman (B15 Project) and a song for the 'more sonic adventures...' album was co-written with Ian, titled 'Despair'. The full album goes again (as the ep) under the name of 'Machine Boy featuring Lorian Elbert' and has the full title of MORE SONIC ADVENTURES FROM MACHINE BOY FEATURING LORIAN ELBERT.
Machine Boy's latest album is now finished and available again from iTunes, titled BUILDING A BETTER BOY, also available is the single ACTION FIGURES, the animated movie for action figures has been picked up by MTV in the uk.
