Fat Janitor are Ewan, Phil, Ryan and Scott. They are a relatively new noise rock/ hardcore band from Glasgow, Scotland. Formed during spring 2011, playing their first show in August 2011, Fat Janitor includes members and ex- members of bands well known within the local scene (VCheka, Bloodlunch, Sunsmasher, Cerebral Bore) and play music drawn from a wide variety of influences from the shoegaze, math rock, black metal, post rock, electronica and hardcore genres. Although the band take their songwriting and music seriously, the approach they take to themselves is not, providing a welcome break from the head-up-arse moodiness which permeates the scene all too often.
