(2) Butcher Boy is a Post-Rock band from Portland, Maine.

The band’s early material was characterized by frenetic folk-punk chaos and sweaty performances. Due to ongoing, practice-related forearm injuries sustained by two of its members, Butcher Boy has moved on to a slower, more ghostly style of post-rock music.

The band released a work entitled Shoreless Sea on November 21, 2012.
